Jenny
I leaned against the door and let all the events of today wash over me.
I had almost died! Oh my god I had actually almost died! And now there's some creepy boy asking me if i'm a girl called Amelia? It was all so crazy.
"Jenny?"
I jumped as I heard my sister call me from the top of the stairs. I'd thought she was still at work.
"Uh, yeah Trina?" I called back. I bit my lip. Did she know about the accident? The paramedic had called but had said he had gotton voicemail.
"Nothing, just wanted to make sure it was you." Trina smiled as she walked down the stairs.
"Well it is." I smiled back. Then I took in her outfit; tight fitting strappy top, high waisted shorts, 6 inch killer heels and her make-up done to perfection. After taking all this in, I looked up at her, my eyebrows raised. "Going somewhere?"
She smiled again. "Yeah. Billy's having a pool party, everyone's gonna be there."
I frowned. "You're not dressed for a pool party."
Trina rolled her eyes. "Oh come on Jenny. You know that only the losers actually go swimming at a party! Besides, it would ruin my make-up."
I laughed. "That is the most ridiculous thing i've heard all day." Then I thought back to Tom.
Speaking of...I pulled back the netting by the door and peeked out. He was still there! He was just sitting on the pavement.
"Who's that boy?" I head Trina ask from the living room.
I practically ran to her. She was holding back the curtain, but whereas I had been descreet about it, she had just pulled it all the way back.
"Trina!" I hissed. "Stop it, that's rude!"
She turned to me, an expectant look on her face. "Well? Who is he?"
"Well...um he's...I don't...that's Tom!" I finally got out. Trina looked at me vaguely. "He's in my year. I said i'd go out with him but i'm having second thoughts." I felt my face flush; why had I lied?!
Trina nodded, disbelief etched all over her face. "Sure... So um, when do you get interested in boys?"
I swear my face flushed even darker. "I've always been interested in boys."
This time Trina laughed at me. "You have not! Just last week you were telling me you thought all boys were ugly and you didn't want anything to do with them."
I clenched my jaw. Why wouldn't she just drop it? "Okay I get it Trina."
But she still carried on. "And I mean, no offense but that boy is pretty hot. How'd you even get him to talk to you?"
My mouth fell open and I felt tears spring in my eyes. I marched out of the living room and back into the hall.
"No Jenny wait! I didn't mean it like that!" Trina called after me.
"You never do!" I shouted back. I opened the front door and slammed it shut.
Tom turned and looked at me.
"What!?!" I asked angrily. "Don't look so suprised! It's not that uncommon for someone to walk out of their own house!"
I turned and stormed off, heading towards the park.
Somehow, without even having to look, I knew Tom was following.

About 5 minutes after I had come to a stop at a park bench, Tom joined me.
He sat next to me, his hands in his jean pockets.
"What do you want?" I asked without looking at him.
"I want you to act normal." He replied.
"I am normal." I said shortly, crossing my arms and leaning back.
He shook his head. "You're not acting like Amelia."
I threw my hands up in frustration. "Well maybe that's because i'm not Amelia! My name is Jenny. Im 15, I have one sister and 3 cats. I have never met you since today, so seriously, go away!" I swallowed, trying to calm down.
"You do know me!" He sounded as frustrated as I was. "When are you going to stop acting so childish and just come home?"
"You sound like my sister!" I muttered.
"Thats it!" Tom said angrily. He stood up and as he did, he grabbed one of my arms, pulling me up with him.
"Ow!" I protested. "What the hell?"
He either didn't hear me or chose not to. Instead he started walking, dragging me with him.
"Get off!" I shouted. I looked around. There was no-body in the park but us. I felt a sinking in my stomach. No one was here to help me.
"Seriously Tom! What are you doing?" I schreeched.
He gave me the briefest of looks before turning back round.
I looked around him to where he was walking.
My eyes widened and my body went stiff. He was taking me to the drop.
The drop was basically a cliff. A few years ago there had been an earthquake and half of the hill had just dropped away. It had been sectioned off but everyone knew little kids dared themselves to get as close to the edge as possible.
I shook my head. "You can't do this." I whispered as we came to a stop.
Tom grabbed my shoulders and spun me in front of him.
I screamed as I realised what he had done. I was now leaning over the drop.
My breath was coming in short gasps and head was spinning.
Tom rolled his eyes at me. "Amelia, don't be so dramatic. Right, act normal or I'll let go of you."
A tear rolled down my cheek. "I'm not Amelia." I whispered.
Tom shrugged. "Your choice."
Then he let go.
