1. Dedication
Believe it or not, this book is based on real events, though I may have over fantisized the memories of playing dragons and spreading our arms out as wings and breathing fake fire and battling over nothing. Though we got in trouble several times for it being claimed "too violent" by our teachers, we kept the game alive until first grade ended, and we were re-assigned to different classrooms.
The legacy of Legend (as we had called it) has died, and now only lives in the memories of the few who dare to remember it. I long for those days that were fun, but they have ended forever.
I dedicate this book to my fellow dragons:
Alex (who was Legend)
Akshay (who was Thunder and made those weird dinosaur noises whenever he became a dragon)
Lyric (who was Potion, who is never mentioned in this idea)
Andrew (who played a giant part in being Lightning, the one who always spit sparks)
And to the others who may have been forgotten now, but had the courage to remember. Thank you, Melanie, Issac, and others.
I focused on the main people; myself, Alex, and Akshay. We tried to re-group in fourth grade, as that was the final time we were in the same class for the rest of our lives, yet we failed. We remembered. We were proud. We are Legend.
I told you I would publish it! And now they owe me twenty bucks. :D
Other than that it was brilliant, keep writing!
