Can You Feel It?

1. One.

Can you feel it?

That static in my veins,

Rushing, twisting, turning,

Straight into my core,

And you only had to glance my way,

You’re crazy.

That rhythmic beating in my chest,

Drowns out the noise,

Drowns out my thought,

And you only had to smile,

You’re perfect.

The hammering of a million tiny wings,

My head is reeling, spinning

As they fill my stomach to the brim

When your hand gently brushes mine,

You’re beautiful.

  • Em :) This was really good! I like the way you have done a paragraph then a statement then a paragraph, it really helps emphasise what your saying! Plus i also like the fact that you haven't made it too long, its a good length poem!! If you have a chance i would love to know what you think of my story perfection, please hit like if you like it! :)
