1. Prologue
Have you ever thought of dying? Have you ever considered where and who with? Or do you plan on living forever? I'd like to see how that turns out for you. The truth is, we all die at some point. Whether of old age, illness or murder, no one lives forever. But you avoid thinking about it. It's too personal, too private, too...emotional. Surely, one of you has thought of immortality...if it were possible, would you seize the opportunity? Could you live forever, and watch the lives of those you've loved, slowly fade away? Could you be so...so selfish? Could you really survive morally and emotionally if you watched Death take its toll on those you love? And you ask me, why am I saying such things? What would I know? I haven't experienced a near-death-experience, so of course I don't know what it's like to finally meet Death. But...I will soon. The truth is...I'm dying.
