Hiya! I'm a socially awkward, extremely gay seventeen-year-old goth who's had the same haircut my entire life. Right now, I've got five novels, two hundred pieces of artwork and three failing A-levels under my belt, which isn't bad for a human garbage skip fire who holds pens with her little finger. I like to write horror/thriller types with realistic characters, buckets of blood, a slight excess of swears, and occasionally a baby sprinkle of romance. I'd love to be a published full-time author, maybe soon, maybe in a million years.

Head to THE GHOST EXPERTS for, well, ghosts (and five HUNDRED f-bombs- I was fifteen, hush), MONSTERS AND MACHINES for a mash of aliens and zombies, EATING OUR HEARTS OUT for vampires, ALL THE DEVIL'S GREED for a regency-era religious demon/vampire thing, and THE BIGGEST FREAK IN DUSKWOOD for a big scary chick fighting forest monsters with a sword. There's also some other stuff, but I wouldn't worry about that too much. Okay, bye!!!

Eating Our Hearts Out"If I'm sick of being a victim, but not cut out to be a hero, what does that make me?" Scotty Matthews is an alcoholic- he’s used to waking up miles...

I feel like I've got SO many movellas now that I'm mumbling about a view milestone every ten minutes, but this book is my favourite, and fifteen thousand's a pretty awesome number! I'm not really sure why this book's my favourite- I think it's just that I love vampires, and I also love Scotty, the main character. I started writing this book thirteen months ago, but I only realised yesterday that he and I are VERY similar people. We're both sloppily dressed, hopeless romantic creative writing students, we both battled depression and a bit of dodgy eating at sixteen, we're both lazily goths, we've both got long black messy hair and green eyes, we've both got an absent father, a mother and a stepfather, and it IS kind of obvious from my writing that I fancy his love interest to boot. We've also both got the same sarcastic sense of humour, because, well, I wrote him. Twice. He wasn't intentionally a self-insert, but it does occur to me the only thing that prevents us from being the actual same person is the fact that I have no desire to become addicted to whisky, nor human blood. Also, I am neither tall nor thin. Also, I'm a woman. But mostly I'm not a vampire.

I also wanted to say: This book has received a massive amount of love, and also some massively helpful CC, recently, both on and offline, so I wanted to say thank you again to everybody who's been reading and has left me a comment. I won't deny I'm sort of hoping I might be able to get it published one day, and with my wobbly self-esteem the support you guys are giving me means everything! :)

On a similar (or perhaps not) note, my MUM asked to read one of my books this week, and even though three of the other four I've written are less psychotic than this one, and even the one that IS more psychotic has the dulling elements of pretty dresses, beautiful scenery descriptions and posh dialogue, I still picked it because I think it's the best written. So if I suddenly post a mumble about being homeless, it's because my Mum got to the end. XD My favourite part of my Mum reading my shit so far is actually that she refuses to read it on a computer screen and so had me print it out. That means I got to hold a finished manuscript in my hands (and put it on my head, and then tweet the pictures of me proudly wearing it as a hat) for the first time in my life. It was pretty epic. XD

Anyway, that's enough of my self-indulgent prattling. I'm off to take care of some children, which, after everything I've just said, seems like a good idea. Have a wonderful day! Jem :)

Sometimes mine have similarties and I don't even see that till I read it back. But I also realise that they do way more cool things in the book than would ever happen to me xD

Mine sometimes do cool things I wish I could do, but they mostly either go through hell or do deplorable things... I like writing about villains best, so it's kinda bad so many of them are like me XD

I know what you mean. Most of my favourite characters are the ones who are supposed to be the 'bad' ones xD

I know I’m late to comment, but I have say I’ve read this entire thing start-to-finish in a single night (i was up until 3:00 in the morning but it was worth it,) and WOW. It is AMAZING.

@[Midnight_Souls] Wow, really? Thank you so much! You honestly have no idea how much that means to me!!!! I'm never very confident with my books, so knowing what you think means so much. I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :)

I'm racking my tiny brains, and I've come to the conclusion that this is the only trophy I've ever won, aside from one I somehow won for outstanding singing and dancing when I was nine. I can't sing or dance, and never could, so that doesn't even count.
Just like @[the force of storms], my lovely Movelly arrived a little worse for wear, but I adapted and overcame with some purple ribbon I cut off a corset. I'm too fat for corsets now, so I probably won't ever need it again unless I become too cocky for my own good.
Have a great day! Jem :)

The Ghost ExpertsNOMMED FOR MOVELLA OF THE YEAR 2016 *Formerly Bump in the Night* The Ghost Experts is a ghost-hunting programme that’s different from all the others....

I don't even like this book anymore, but it's my second most popular, so I guess most of you guys don't hate it as much as I do. XD

Tomorrow is the year anniversary of me starting this book- my favourite child- and it just hit 14 THOUSAND views today! That is INSANE! I also got a new like, which always excites me because I'm a child. XD

Tonight, I'm doing something really bloody terrifying- I've got a fifteen-minute slot to read some of my work at an open mic night. I've picked the little jetty flashback scene from All the Devil's Greed, if any of you know it. It's the least gory, least profane bit of any of my novels that's still in the least bit exciting. But I suppose it doesn't really matter- I'll be shaking so hard with nerves nobody'll even be able to tell what words are coming out of my mouth. Wish me luck! Or, if you happen to be in Peterborough tonight, feel free to come and throw tomatoes at me.

    Have a good day! :)
