1. Be Careful What You Wish For
I had been sad and bored for a while now. Like really, really sad. I just wanted to end everything, end my life but I was too much of a coward to do so. You maybe wonder why a healthy fourteen year old boy wanted to end his life. I don’t know I just wanted to. Life was sad, it was boring. But I later found out that I never should have wished to die.
One night I went to bed after having dinner with my family. I was so exhausted so I fell asleep almost instantly when my head hit the pillow. It was dark at first, I couldn’t see anything at all. But then I slowly started to be able to see things. There were trees everywhere and the moon was full. I figured out that I was in a forest. I suddenly became extremely scared and my heart began to beat faster than it had ever done before. It felt like someone or something was watching me.
I couldn’t stand the feeling that something was watching me so I began to ran as fast as I could that way I thought would lead me out of the forest. It was probably the stupidest thing I could have done because when I had ran a few meters I heard what sounded like growling and the sound of something running after me. My heartbeat became even faster if that’s even possible. I could hear that the thing came closer and closer to it was right beside me.
It was the scariest thing I had ever seen. It looked like a gigantic wolf with blood red eyes that stared hungry at me. I screamed and tried to avoid its claws as it tried to reach me with them but I couldn’t avoid them and the wolf eventually got me. The only thing that went though my mind when it got me was that I didn’t want to die, I wanted to live, I wanted to get a job, get a wife, maybe even get a baby for Christ sake. But it was too late with all this dreams as the wolf ripped my heart out and eat it.
I woke up soaked in my own sweat. It was all just a dream. I had never felt so relived in my life. I really thought I had died. Why in the world did I ever wish to die? But it didn’t matter why I had wished to die before because now I was just happy to be alive and well. But my happiness didn’t last because suddenly I heard my door crack open and a man with an axe walked in. The last words I heard before everything became black was: “Be careful what you wish for”…
