Write an original story inspired by the novel's extract or your own dreams and you could win a brand new copy of Laini Taylor's book, hot off the presses from Hodder & Stroughton. Winners will be chosen by the author herself, who's taking time off from her fantasy novel-writing to read your stories!

To participate in this competition, read the extract of Strange the Dreamer, and:

 

1. Write a story about gods and mortals.  

    OR

2. Write a story or a poem on one of your most memorable dreams (or nightmares!)

    OR

3. Write an alternate story for the character Lazlo. It can be a backstory, a fanfic, a different story, or a new beginning...
