A new summer is right around the corner! I'm tired of going to this lame school. The "amazing" all girls school, Bridge Point. I hate this place. I was never aloud to wear what I wanted to, just this plain, old ugly uniform. This is my last year in Bridge Point. Thank you! After this year I will be free to do whatever I want to. I was thinking about college right after, but I kind of want some time to tell my crush about my feelings for him. It's really hard for me to confess my incredible and intense attraction for him when I'm super shy. He is one of my best friends that I have known since kindergarten and I know what your thinking. Your a senior, graduating in a few weeks and you met him in kindergarten. I know I'm crazy so don't say it. It's just really hard to confess to him and I honestly have no clue why.
The school bell rang and I hustled out the door. It is Friday. Thank you again! Every weekend I get to see him and every time I do, I like him even more. Just think, I have liked him ever since kindergarten and every time I see him I like him just a little more. Crazy, huh? You have no clue how much this boy means to me. A lot! Like, a lot, a lot. I just wish he would see instead of me having to tell him.
I got to my small, light blue beetle bug. Yes, I know. A beetle? Ew. I don't like it either, but it was the only thing that I could afford at the time. My parents wouldn't help me pay for my own car. I once again know what you're thinking. What bad parents they are! Not really, actually. I have had worse and what I mean by that is that I have been in more than one family before. I am in foster care. I have traveled all the way across the country just because I'm a foster, but that never worked out because of him. Ethan. I have always ran away hoping that my foster parents wouldn't find me.
I got home and rushed in through the door. I stomped up the stairs of our nice home.
"How was your day?" Carrie, my foster mom at the time, asked me.
I came to a stop at the top of the stairs.
"Good, I guess." I said with an annoyed voice.
I didn't really like Carrie. She would always ask me the same question every time I walked in through that door. Then that was it. She had nothing else to say to me it seemed. She would occasionally talk to me and have a conversation with me, but that was only when she wanted to tell me something important.
I kept walking towards the door of my bedroom and then she yelled back at me.
"Come back to the stairs I want to tell you something!"
I just ignored her at that point and walked into my room and plopped onto the bed. I sighed and then stared at my ceiling.
She yelled again, but this time louder.
"Annalise Keeley Roberts! Come here!"
I shut my eyes and ignored the annoying sound of her voice. Whatever.
Soon my dad came up to my room. I usually refer to Mark as my actual dad because he is actually caring to me. He talks to me about my problems and helps me work them out.
"Anna! Why won't you answer your mother?"
"She is not my mom. Go away."
"Honey, don't say that, what's wrong?" Mark asked me as he came and sat down next to me.
"Nothing. Just the usual." I said with my eyes still shut.
"Oh yeah, Ethan called a little while ago. He wanted me to tell you that he is looking forward to mini-golf tonight."
My eyes opened very fast and I shot right up. Ethan is taking me out to play mini-golf! I ran over to my closet and pulled open the door. I walked right into the over-sized walk in closet and couldn't choose what to wear. Should I wear this really pretty sundress or should I wear my nice V-cut Hollister shirt with a white cover up jacket and my skinny jeans with my high tops?
"Karis!" I screamed as I dropped both outfits to the floor and ran into my bedroom again.
"What are you up to girly!" She asked me as I ran into her arms for a hug.
"Nothing, just getting ready for mini-golf with Ethan!" I replied.
"Stay here!" I demanded.
I ran back into my closet and slipped into my sundress. I walked back out after putting on some flats.
I ran back and got into the other outfit that I picked out.
"Definitely that one! It isn't too flashy, but it isn't too casual. It is perfect!" She told me.
I walked over to my vanity and sat down. What color eye shadow? A blue to match my V-cut or white to match my cover up jacket? I picked blue so that it wasn't too bright. I smeared it onto my eyes and then rolled on some eyeliner. Perfect, I thought. I looked over at Karis and smiled.
"Uhm, It's pretty, I guess."
"What do you mean.. I guess." I asked annoyed.
"It truly does look good, but maybe you should cover up that huge zit on your forehead with some foundation." She suggested.
"Oh my gosh! I didn't even see that!" I screamed.
"Here." She said helping me.
She grabbed the foundation off of my vanity and put a little drop on her finger. She rubbed it onto my forehead and laughed.
"You have a big zit on your forehead and you didn't know until you were about to leave for mini-gold with Ethan." She chuckled some more.
"Sorry, what are you going to do to your hair?" She apologized.
"I'm going to waterfall braid it." I answered.
"Ewhhh! Pretty!" She said.
I started on my braid and when I got finished Me and Karis walked downstairs.
"Hey Karis!" Nani shouted.
Nani is my little sister that Carrie and Mark already had in the family before they decided to take me in. She loves Karis, but I seriously don't think she likes me that much. It wouldn't really surprise me.
Nani jumped out of the stool that she was sitting in and squeezed Karis tightly.
"Hey Nani!" I said trying to get noticed.
She looked at me and gave me an annoyed look.
"Eh." She said.
Whatever I don't care. I walked over to the fridge and looked inside. Nothing. Of course. I went through all of the cabinets hoping for something to pop up. Nutella! I love Nutella! It tastes so good and it is so good for you. I got it out as well as bread and spread it out on top. Mmmmm. I said in my head.
"Hey I want some!" Karis shouted.
"Make your own." I told her.
The doorbell rang and I stared at Karis with a panicky expression.
"Oh my gosh! Just get the door!" Nani screamed.
She ran over to the door and opened it up.
"Ethan!" She yelled.
