1. It All Starts on Tuesday...
Hi, I'm Abby. I'm a 17-year-old girl who has always dreamed of becoming a singer. I have blonde hair, and greens eyes. Which, I know, sounds like a pretty strange combination. But, Ryan doesn't think so.
Oh, yeah, Ryan is my boyfriend. We've been dating for a couple years, but, I don't now, our relationship has lost it's passion. He doesn't look at me the same. I don't even know why we are still dating. I am not too pretty, to be honest. Most girls here in New York are gorgeous, but he asked me out.
I'm pretty tall for my age, and I look and act older than 17. I have great friends, but they are 1,500 miles away.
School here is actually really great. People really like me, but only because I am so close to pursuing my dream.
I've been singing since I was in 4th grade. Not even my mom knew I could until I had a solo in the school play. At first, I auditioned for fun, But I turned out really loving it! Ever since, I have been singing for every chance I get. My mom finally decided I should follow my dreams. Next week, I'm going to enroll in home schooling. Ryan and I decided to go to Starbucks for my last day with him.
I waited at home for him to come pick me up. He texted me 30 earlier he had something to tell me. I quickly got dressed in a pair of cute dark skinny jeans, a white v- neck, and a pink, yellow, and brown scarf. To top off the look, I added dark brown ankle boots and cardigan. I was waiting in front of my house, sitting on the steps, until his black SUV pulled up in my drive way. My hair was in a mess on curls, so I ran inside to get my white beanie. I came back out, and slid into the passenger seat, buckling my seat belt. I looked up at Ryan, and gave him a smile, but he never returned it. Instead, he looked straight ahead, as if not even noticing I got in. "Ryan? What's wrong?!" I asked, slightly confused. "Let's go.." He said, as he slowly pulled out of the drive way.
We arrived, and there were a few cameras out, and flashing. I was slightly confused... This never happened before... Ignoring that fact, we walked into the coffee shop. I ordered my frappe, and Ryan his latte. We got our coffee, and sat at a table. Ryan and I drank our drinks in silence. He finished, threw the cup away, and stood next to me. Still sitting, I asked, "now what was it you wanted to tell me?" Ryan seemed hesitant, but finally said,"Abby, I've been seeing someone else. And she loves me, as I love her. I'm sorry, but we are over." At that. He left.
