I didn't know who to believe,
Me or you strangers who've become friends,
You say I can write,
I think my words are rotten spaghetti,
Piling up higher,
On my giant white plate,
Of a wished career.
My poems look like trees,
My stories rivers,
Sometimes I break a branch,
Or get stuck at a dam,
And I give up,
As you all know, some more than others,
My self esteem sucks.
I think of my best friend,
"I'm awesome." She says that a lot.
Do you even want to know,
How many times I say,
"I am sooo stupid."
Do you really?
Cause I would have gotten rich a long time ago.
But do you want to know what?
Ever since I found Movellas,
I've been stronger,
Never to give up,
How to believe in myself,
To come out of my shell,
And express myself.
So don't be like I was,
Don't bring yourself down,
Just bring yourself up,
You're a writer,
And it doesn't matter what other people say,
You still have magic, inside your heart and pen.
Always believe in yourself,
The only thing that could ever get in the way,
Of your success,
Is you.
So make a difference.
Show your colors,
And write because you can
