Glares followed her each step. She just carried on, nobody knows where she is looking because her face is hidden behind the shades, her eyes were of no colour because all she wore were the shades; the black shades that made it impossible to see her eyes.
Malah was only five at the time and five is a bold age; most have no shyness at that age. She put her feet before her and took it one step at a time before tapping the girl in shades.
'Here.' She whispered.
The head turned fully to face Malah and then it lowered itself. 'Hmm?' A sharp, mysterious voice called out.
'Why are you wearin' those...?' She asked, clearly directing it to the shades.
The girl in shades clenched her fists tight as not to throw them at the girl.
'Why do you ask questions? It's bad to ask questions. Ask another question and people might kill you for your curiosity.' The woman let out a happy giggle and walked on.
Malah just whimpered, and opened the door home and walked in.
