Cakes are probably one of the simplest things to bake recipe wise, but it’s often hard to find a simple recipe that doesn’t add unnecessary steps, or miss any out. Well here it is, my simple guide to making cup cakes.

Thing you WILL need:

A mixing device (I tend to use a wooden spoon but you can use and electric mixer or even a fork.)

A bowl (preferably large)

Some scales

A sieve

An Oven

A pack of Cake cases.

Ingredients:

Self raising flour- 4oz / 125g

Caster sugar- 4oz/ 125g

Butter- 4oz/ 125g

2 eggs
