Sticks and Stones part 2

1. Dozed yet again

I must have dozed off again because my mum was calling me to open my eyes. It was a struggle they felt like rocks. Never mind what I must look like right now. Oh great! The half of my family that I haven’t seen in years is going to meet me while I look like a drooling zombie. Yep. My legs are dead. Wonderful.

"We're here, get up!" said mum. Glaring at me like I was being rude.

"I'm awake, I just can't see. Where are we?"

"Just down the road from the house and you probably can't see because it's so late"

She was right. The red numbers on the dashboard were telling me it was 11:02pm. How long had I slept for? As we drove past too many farmers fields to count. I noticed one thing. There seemed to be more sheep than people. They are everywhere! Oh no, never mind everything’s ok. There are some pigs too.
