1. Try to at least have a rough plot in mind before getting feedback.
If you are starting from scratch then feedback before you barely even start can affect the result of the rest of your movella. Say if you were writing a horror and someone told you that your descriptions weren't quite enough to get a vision of what the creature looked like. That could effect how you write the rest, such as you then putting all of the information about the character in at once and just end up throwing all of it into the readers face and they struggle to follow it. But if you are starting from scratch I recomend taking constructive critisism into your work once you have finished and not taking it too seriously. Your work doesn't have to be perfect!
