Morning Dim In Autumn

1. Morning Dim In Autumn

Woken up on morning dim in autumn

The sky golden, laden with clouds

Mists of violet hanging over the hills

A glistening web of silver shrouds

Sunshine's fingers slant through trees

Crisp and just awoken, weary

Open up the window to feel it

Feel the dusty air once dreary

Just awakening to see it shimmer

People slowly walking by

On this early, growing morning

Hear the birds sing, the wind sigh

Dressed into my warm day clothes

I eat my breakfast, dash outside

Taken by the magic of the new day

Like a fallen leaf, I glide

Autumn, take me, take me!

I'm so alive, so free!

Take me! Take me!

Take me

In this morning dim in autumn....
