I see it in the distance

The Island in the storm

In all it's standing glory

Seagulls scream and swarm.

I see it in the distance

A lighthouse shining bright

It reminds of a better time,

When rocks glistened in the light.

I see it in the distance

Seven days gone by

I watch the every moment,

And watch the seagulls fly.

I saw it in the distance

At first just a dream,

Then I saw a lighthouse

And seagulls that scream.

The Island surrounds me

Others stay to see

The Lighthouse

And the birds that scream.
