1. Forest Of Boredom
Jason Louise stared at the window day dreaming when he felt his shoulder being grasped. He jumped up in surprise and quickly turned to face the person who had nerve to interrupt his peaceful day dream. It was his father Johnny.
"Jason, why don't you go play outside?", Johnny said.
"Well, I don't know anybody here.", Jason replied back with a bit of sarcasm in his voice.
"Jason I know the moves been hard for you but I did this for a reason. I didn't want you living your whole life on the same spot your mother died. I wanted you to get over the death of her.", Johnny said with concern in his voice.A tear stung Jason's eye at the memory of his mother. There was a moment of silence, Jason finally broke that silence by stomping to the front door mumbling some sware words and slamming the door as he went outside. It had been three painful months since that nightmare night that the death had occured. Jason sat on the porch remembering that bloody rug and the evil smirk that rested on the killers face. A voice rang out from behind those lush green trees.
"Man, there's better things to do then sitting on the porch being a loner", A smooth voice rang with a bit of a chuckle.
Jason quickly turned around to face a teenaged boy. The boy was skinny, short light blonde hair, pale almost grayish skin, piercing blue eyes, wearing old blue jeans, hiking boots and a regular t-shirt.
"I know right? I just moved here and as far as I can see there's no other people here", Jason said.
"Oh, man that sucks. There ain't anybody here except me, my dad Bo, and my dog Truston. My names Christopher but I prefer Chris.", Chris said with a grin on his face.
"My names Jason, is there anything to do around here? Even my damn cell phone doesn't have any bars!", Jason replied obviously bored.
"Well, I could show you a fishing hole around dinnertime. And, what's a cell phone?", Chris asked with a confused look on his face.
Jason started to laugh and said"Haven't you ever been to the city?", Jason asked.
"Nuh, I've lived here all my life, We better get going before some drunks steal our spot. If you need an extra fishing pole, I'll just go grab one on my way to my house", Chris said.
"No I got one thanks though, I'm gonna go grab one and a few cans of cola.", Jason replied halfway to the front door.
"Okay ill meet you here alright?", Chris said.
Jason nodded and hurried inside to grab his pole.
"I knew you would find a friend", Johnny said.
Jason ignored what his father had said and quickly grabbed a fishing pole, power bait and 4 cans of cola.
"I'll be back soon, I'm going fishing.", Jason said while he rushed outside.
