'Raz!' The echoing of her voice made my eyes well with tears. It was now a faint memory but it kept coming back to me.

I elegantly strode forwards and then a bird flew past me. Unlucky bird... I had to eat and it was my prey. I lay down on the grass in the ready position, hidden and ready to pounce. It came over me and I leapt and hit it with my claws. It fell down and dinner was ready. I licked my lips happily and started licking the bird. It was delicious and so I started chewing on it viscously.  

Then Rara, my lifetime friend sprang round. She had a beautiful red coat and lovely deep brown eyes. 

'How are you?' She asked, smiling warmly.

'Fine.' I smiled.

'But we have to keep on the move. Where do you think will be safest next?' I asked nervously.

'Let's just go, I nearly got shot today.' Rara explained, a tear seeping down her eye.

'It reminded me of...' She sobbed.

'The same happened to me and memories jolted back to me too. We have each other though.' I smiled at her and then we nodded at each other.

'Let's go.' I said and I licked my paws to get the bird blood off them.

Rara gave me a keen smile and then we jolted off. I had promised her that I would keep care of her, ever since her family were killed by hideous humans. I have kept my promise so far and I will never brake it... She is the fox I care most about in the whole world.
