Mummy

1. Mummy

Mummy

Can you hear me?

Did he attack you again?

You're gone...

Gone...

Did he grab a knife,

And ram it into your chest?

Did he grasp a gun,

And blast through your vest?

Did he push you down,

And ram you to the ground?

Did he cover up your mouth,

So you wouldn't make a sound?

Did he slit your wrists,

With a pointy dagger?

Did he shout and scream,

To make you even sadder?

Did he shove a bullet,

Right down your throat?

Did he slap you again and again,

With his leather coat?

Now you lie here,

The shadows of people

From all around

Cast over your head

And the stench of the blood

The blood red

Your eyes

Closed

As if you are asleep...

Mummy?

Can you hear me?

Did he attack you again?

You're gone...

Gone....

Gone...
