Friday 20th September 1997

Dear Diary,

My name is Rhiannon i am 7 years old, i am new to writing diaries so sorry if its not to good. My daddy brought me this so i could write down my feelings about mummy, i miss you mummy. I dont know if you can hear me or not, maybe you can read this from heaven, if you can you have some special eyes! Daddy told me that a nasty person took mummy to heaven because he was strange and crazy like most people around, daddy said that mummy didnt want to leave us, she loved us very much and wanted to do anything to keep us happy. He says that this type of thing is called a m-mu.. Murder! That's it. Anyway, I have brown hair and bright blue eyes, i'm short for my age and i get bullied alot for being upset alot, i dont share why i am upset with anybody but daddy, only he knows, mummy has only been gone one week but it feels like one year. I want to know how i can show what i feel, daddy says that writing it down helps, but i like painting. Art is a much better way to show daddy my thoughts, i will do both, one painting and one diary entry a day.
