It wasn't a particularly wonderful day to start off with. The sky lighting up yellow as the lightning comes and goes with such horrifying bangs which not only scared my 10 year old daughter, Jodie, but also scared the living daylight out of me. The rain pouring down, gashing against the rocks and pebbles which lay amongst the treaded path of which many were gathering  However, not even an umberella could protect my daughter of what was in store for her. For our family. For the world.

Life or death? Not a very catchy slogan, is it? However, you'd be surprised at the numbers of people who flock to examine an event which for one person ends so devastatingly. Ends so suddenly. Ends so painfully.

Some would say 'that's how the cookie crumbles' though, what was to follow later in the evening wouldn't be what the audience were expecting. A young soul washed away like the sea soaking up the golden sand that was once so lively, so vacant, so free.....
