Walk On By

1. Walk On By

He kissed me once.  He kissed me twice.

We kissed again for it was nice.

He held me close, and then he spoke.

'Twas at that moment I awoke.

Oh dreadful dream, you're mocking me.

What ever have I done to thee.

I yearn, but learn there's no respite.

     It's just another lonely night.

If you hear my sigh, or see me cry,

pay no mind - just walk on by.

It's in my dreams you'll have to stay,

for my heart is broke and gone away.
