1. The last step

Ed's forehead was wet from cold sweat.
He had to run the last Mile to reach the destination.

It was a long and exhausting odyssey over many waters and the big sands.
He was relieved and scared at the same time when he opened the rather huge box.
He held his breath when he finally activated the time detonator and placed the golden sculpture in this hidden place.

In the distance he could still hear the sound of thousands of Vuvuzelas.
It was 9:00 pm in the City of Johannesburg - July the 11th 2010.
