Hi everyone. It's me Sabitha and today I got my nose pierced. My nose kind of hurts now and I'm finding it difficult to not even touch it by accident. I have a low pain tolerance but I managed to get my nose pierced. Ever since I was 13 I wanted to get my nose pierced but I was always afraid. When I turned 16 I was like I am going to get my nose pierced but I was too scared. Now at the age of 17 I finally managed to get my nose pierced. In the UK you have to be at least 16 to get your nose pierced and most shops want parental consent if your under 18. My mum came with me to get my nose pierced and even held my hand for support. I'm proud to say I didn't chicken out or scream. It did hurt when it was being pierced but it felt like an injection pain and only hurt for a minute. It was not as bad as I have been thinking. The nose piercer was very chill and calm and it was done very quickly. I had to sign consent form before getting it pierced like you usually have to do plus a scanned copy of proof that I was over 16. The funny thing was my mum nearly forgot to pay at the end and the piercer joked about a free piercing. Luckily I reminded my mum to pay. It cost 25 pounds including three piercing plus had to buy sea salt to clean the piercing. Since I have a big nose I think it looks really good with the piercer marking in pen the location. To anyone interested in getting a nose piercing the pain isn't that bad but that doesn't mean that it won't hurt for a while or that tears won't come because for me as soon as the needle went in my nose tears automatically came out of my eyes. If you want a piercing and under 18 go with your parent since you need their consent. You have to be 16 to get a nose piercing mostly. Plus even if your over 18 it's always nice to go with someone, like a friend or parent for support. Now when I go back to year 13 on Monday I can proudly tell my friends that I got my nose pierced.
